Ever since I got into makeup, Soleil Tan De Chanel bronzing base and Benefit's High Beam highlighter have been the two most lusted after items on the internet. Hook, line and sinker I was in with the many ladies and gents wanting to get there hands on them. I always told myself one day I would spoil myself and splurge on the luxury item, but my mind just couldn't bare the price tag. Recently while skimming through the ever so addicting amazon, I came across two items from a makeup company I had never heard of, W7. The reviews were high and everyone chatted about how much they loved the brand. When I spotted W7 had two items looking almost exactly like Chanel and Benefit's products I instantly knew they had to be mine! W7 night glow and Wakeup and Glow bronzing base looked and tested just like the more expensive brands, straight down to similar packaging. Price wise they couldn't be further apart. Chanel's bronzing base comes in at a whopping $48.00, and Benefit's at $26.00. W7's base comes in at around $9 and the highlight at at $6. W7 is a UK based makeup brand so I bought mine on amazon. They have a huge range of other products and more dupes so I will defiantly be picking up some more soon to try out. Saving money is very important especially since I am in college and I do want to move out one day so saving and finding better deals is my go to.
To apply the bronzing base I use a e.l.f. cosmetics stippling brush and apply it to the parts of my face that would naturally be hit by the sun: temples, cheeks, sides of nose and I even use it as a cream eye shadow. With the night glow dot it on the tops of my cheeks bones and blend in with my fingers or a beauty blender for the most natural and smooth application. This photo isn't doing the highlight justice, but trust me its beautiful!
