Starting today, at the end of every month ill be showing you the things I enjoyed most throughout. If you are anything like me you love seeing what others are enjoying so that you too can check them out too!
Above is something when I first saw it and the price didn't think was going to be that great. The color is what sold me. Lately I have been sporting a lot of nudes on my lips, quite different then my usual bright red. This L.A. Colors lipstick and lip liner duo in "In the nude" came together for only $1 at my local Walgreens. If I am not wearing my classy red lip it is this and I can not stop it is that amazing and so long lasting. | Once again I am raving about Rimmel Londons 24 HR liquid matte lipstick in "Kiss Me you Fool". Its the perfect red lip with the staying power of gods. I am excited to try more of the color range here, for they have a beautiful selection. If you want more knowledge on this product I have a previous blog post on lipsticks you can go back and check out! |
Next up is yet another Rimmel product. This one of the new Show Off Lip Velvets in Meteoric Matte. This comes in around $5-6 dollars, it really just depends where you purchase it from. I wore this first when I went out with my darling best friend Kody to the mall. We were both quite impressed at its staying power after I ate a delicious bagel at Starbucks. I barely had to even touch it up! At the end of the day when I arrived home, it was still amazingly present on my lips, didn't even make them feel like the Sahara desert which is a major plus for liquid lipsticks!
A while back a new product brand was introduced to the Walmart's around the world. Drew Barrymore, the very famous and beautiful actress designed this new cosmetic range. Her goal was simple. She wanted the women and men of the world to be able to purchase great cosmetics for a great price. Most high end brands are so high priced because of the ads, Flower does not. Drew, as an owner of the brand, takes pride in promoting Flower, which in turn allows them to put all of the resources into the formulas and packaging, and not into advertising. |
Tarte Cosmetics is a more high end brand. This "Gifted" mascara though is very much worth the price. I ordered a mini size off of Amazon so mine was cheaper then the larger size. I do not know how to describe how wonderful this mascara is. It is lengthening, volumizing, natural and yet can be added enough to be dramatic, without being clumpy!
Loreal Magic Perfecting Base is a amazing light pink jar of magic. It not only keeps your makeup looking flawless and keeps it longer throughout the day it also helps diminish the appearance of pores. This is something I wouldn't skip on a no makeup day, it makes my skin look that little bit more awake! Its silky formula goes on like a dream and stays there all day!
Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige is a wonderful, easy eye color to either help buildup powdered eye shadows, or wear it on its own. It stays without creasing and is easy for a on the go, rush look!
Lately I have been trying to get back into writing and being more organized! These three items above have helped me greatly with that. The Macaroon pen and notebook where from Michaels Craft Store and the sassy lipstick pen came in a pack of 6 at Target, or what can be more better described as where all my money goes.
Lately the only thing I have been sporting on my nails is Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme wear in Babe Blue. My attention when buying this was trying to pep my mood up because of the frigid weather as of late, and that it does! It is the perfect bright pastel blue.
Cat headband: My friend Sierra made this for me for Christmas, that crafty girl! So if you would like a post on how to make it I am sure she would love to guest blog!
Batiste Dry Shampoo: This stuff has saved my hair on multiple occasions. It is there for when I do not wish to wash my hair, which lets be honest is most of the time. This one is a little different from the others in the line, it gives you hair a brown tint! This is good for my already brown hair, I feel like it gives it a bit more deepness.
Lady In the Water: Recently my darling boyfriend Derek, showed me this movie and I fell in love! It is a wonderful whimsical story with enchanting music. Here I will insert a little bio on it, as well as link it as I do with all my product's! "Apartment building superintendent Cleveland Heep rescues what he thinks is a young woman from the pool he maintains. When he discovers that she is actually a character from a bedtime story who is trying to make the journey back to her home, he works with his tenants to protect his new friend from the creatures that are determined to keep her in our world."
Lemon Purse: I purchased this adorable little purse at my local Target for $10.00 in the little girls department. This is nothing that you will be able to carry your whole life around in, but defiantly a good back for easy days and nights when you do not wish to carry a lot.
I hope you enjoyed taking a peek at the things I enjoyed during the month of March. This was so much to write and think about and I can not wait to do Aprils! I hope you have a wonderful day and lovely night!
