It's been a hot minute since I've done one of these. Mainly because I have been using the same products over and over again. So now that we have lost another month and are in April I figured I would bust out one of my favorite blog posts, because I actually have some new and rediscovered favorites to show to you! P.s I created this fruity pattern above! I am very keen on it so that is a March favorite as well! I would adore getting this put on tote bags and cosmetic bags, I guess we shall see!
A few weeks ago my skin, that is usually pretty clear, decided to have a major freak out! My jaw line and chin was under attack and my skin was losing big time. I am one of those people who cant just leave spots alone either. I pick and pick and pick until I bleed. So I decided my skin needed a little pick me up. I ordered my long lusted after Glossier face masks. The mega greens galaxy pack and moisturizing moon mask. The mega greens mask is a detoxifying mask. I will either apply this all over or just on my t-zone, nose and chin. After it has sat on my skin for 20 minutes I will wash it off. It is best to go in with the moisturizing moon mask to lock back in that moisture. This mask is amazing! After the use it makes my skin feel so soft and buttery. No only that but it feels very cool and refreshing. After all of that I apply this new favorite Louane Coconut Oil. I believe this is one of the skin saving factors I have been introduced to. It's all natural so of course it is great for the skin, and many other things. Best part is it is super cheap at Walmart and a little goes a long way.
NYX Born to Glow Illuminating Primer: Now that it is spring and slowly strolling into the warmer months I wanted to make my skin super glowy.
L'Oreal True match blush in "Bare Honey": This is best described as natural blush. It both warms the complexion, but also doesn't look too over powering! It has been my staple for the last few months when I want to look more sun kissed and natural!
Physician Formula Butter Bronzer is the smoothest, most beautiful bronzer that I have ever tried. Not only that but it smells like I am on a tropical beach. It is a little over powering so some people might not like that, but once applied you smell nothing.
Benefit's Dandelion blush is a rediscovered love. I got this in a sizzling six package from Benefit. It had six different sample sizes. I still haven't used it up so I couldn't imagine ever having to buy a full size! They even sell mini ones for $15. But anyways, this blush may be matte but somehow it makes my cheeks glow! I love the soft pinkness of it., it can go with any makeup look! They actually released a bunch of new products that I want to try out eventually, This blush is now also a liquid form (Dandelion Dew liquid blush) which looks even more tantalizing!
Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed - Champagne Pop: I kind of forgot about this highlighter after I bought it, and I don't know how! Since I have been going for a more warm makeup look this is the perfect glow factor I need. A little goes a long way so this baby is going to last me ages! Which is good, because this wasn't cheap!
I don't typically wear a lot of eye shadow. I stick with a lot of neutral beige tones. This Maybelline Color Tattoo in Just Beige is supposed to be a exact dupe for the MAC soft ochre paint pot so this a great find. I apply this to my lids and will set it with a cream colored eye shadow. After that I will apply my bronzer into the crease for some added depth. I don't have it listed but it should be but I apply Kiss Trio Lashes for added drama!
I saw Crimson Peak when it came out in theatres, but when It came out on DVD I was all up on that. I HAD TO HAVE IT! It is such a great film and I suggest anyone and everyone to go see it! My friend told me about this movie called "Final Girl" and I just had to watch it. It has such a great story and a great ending. For anyone who loves movies this would be a great watch. The guy who made it is a photographer, and you can tell by the way he shot this movie.
The title says it all. I haven't finished it yet but so far so good! I think it is a good read for anyone in the process of becoming adulty or already being a full time adult. So check it out! I bought mine on amazon so ill link it for ya!
