During the winter time it is time to switch up my skincare routine. I urge most people to do the same. The weather is a big part of how our skin react to things. In the summer, I tend to stick with lighter formulas since I get far more oily during the hot days. In the Winter If I use thicker more hydrating formulas. I noticed if I do not switch it up I become a dry flaky mess, and that doesn't just mean my face. My legs are the biggest culprit. Even though I try to keep them hidden in tights or pants, they get so dry that it feels like I have itchy poison ivy all over my legs! Which is hugely unpleasant especially when you are trying to sleep, just ask my boyfriend Derek. The poor thing has to sleep next to a groaning, itching, rolling around girlfriend! Todays post I would like the share with you some of my favorite skincare finds that help me get through the dry cold winter!
Part two to my Lipstick Library is finally here! I regret the lack of posts for ive been very busy with school and work. But alas another edition is here!
Lipstick is a very obvious passion for me. On a daily basis I usually tend to wear it and am not afraid to experiment with a bold new shade! It can get windy where I live, and there is nothing worse then pealing your own wind blown hair off your glossy lips, so I tend to stray away from gloss and tend to lean toward matte formulas. Lipstick Library will be a new edition to my blog. Each post will be like discovering a new section of an actual library. But instead of different genres it will be different brands in their different shades! I am always trying out new ones so this could potentially be a big series! Honesty is always my policy in everything I do, so all my opinions will forever and always be true.
Ariana Grande has a ever growing fan base and I am one of them. I love her fashion style, makeup, hair and her music! I saw this makeup look a while back on Rupaul's Drag Show, and just had to recreate it!
While playing around with a new makeup palette I dabbled in trying something new. The burgundy/red shade stuck out to me and I placed it all over my lids. I was shocked how much I liked it. I added my usual brown crease shade the deepen the look.
When I don't know what I want to do with my makeup, I stick with this easy classic look that I know I like! Deep shaded brown crease, winged eyeliner, big lashes and a bold lip to finish it off! The steps and products are listed below! But remember girlies makeup is just there for fun, you can wear less, more, different shades or non at all. It is all up to you. You are beautiful with and without it!
(WARNING! This was actually my first post ever but I accidently republished it and now it looks recent. And there is no undo button whoops!).
